What we collect

When you create a BrewLog account we store your email address and, if you give one, your name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address they share with us (Apple can share a private relay address instead of your real one). Your password is stored only as a secure hash.

We also store what you log in the app: your coffees, beans, ratings, tasting notes, recipes, equipment, coffees you had out, your preferences, and any photos you add. Photos are private: they are served only to your signed-in account. If you send us feedback from the app, we store your message with your account so we can follow up.

Daily reminders are scheduled on your phone by iOS. Turning them on does not send us anything.

How we use it

To run the app and sync your coffee log, to give you brewing tips based on what you log, to send transactional email (such as password resets), and to understand how the product is used (for example, how many people sign up and log a first coffee). We do not sell your data or show you ads.

Services we rely on

Hosting, database and photo storage by Cloudflare, product analytics and error tracking by PostHog, and email by Resend. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. If you buy a subscription in the app, Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details.

Your choices

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. That permanently deletes your account, everything you logged, and all of your photos. For a copy of your data, you can export your coffee log as a CSV from Settings, or ask us for it at hello@getbrewlog.com.
